Toubkal Mountain : Live an invigorating experience and explore the Toubkal National Park located between the N’Fiss valleys to the west and the Ourika region to the east. At 4,167 meters above sea level, Jbel Toubkal is considered the highest peak in North Africa. Throughout your journey, expect a wide range of geographic features that alternate as you go. Expect to see rivers, cliffs, gorges with breaks to take unforgettable photos to celebrate the magical moments.
Tour Program
Departure from Marrakech by private vehicle to Imlil. Enjoy the magnificent journey from the valley of Asni to the village of Ait Misane, offering a panorama of nature and authentic Berber villages. Imlil will be the starting point for your trekking in the High Atlas. Meet our guides and mule drivers; you will start your day of walking or riding mules towards the village Armed (1905 m above sea level). Two more hours to reach the famous marabout of Sidi Chemharouch (2250 m above sea level). A tea break with the marabout before hitting the road at the Toubkal refuge. Dinner and overnight in bivouac.
Very early in the morning, you will start to climb the summit of Toubkal the highest in North Africa (4167 m), a magnificent panorama on the southern part where the Siroua massif is located, the only massif in Morocco with the saffron culture. Discover a beautiful view of the High Atlas Mountains, the valleys of the South and the North. Then descend to the refuge. Dinner and overnight in bivouac.
TOUBKAL REFUGE – SIDI CHEMHAROUCH – ARMED – IMLIL – ASNI – MARRAKECH
After breakfast, we will start the day with a rondo to the marabout of Sidi Chamharouch (2250 m), a revered saint, for the care of spiritual illnesses. After, we have 30 minutes for the descent to Imlil, small visit, Lunch and return to Marrakech.
