Departure from your hotel in the morning at 8 a.m. Arrival in Marrakech, free lunch. Then depart to the south via the High Atlas via the TICHKA pass 2260m, with magnificent landscapes and panoramic views. Arrival at Ait Ben haddou and visit the famous Ksar (fortified village) of Ait Benhaddou. Continue to Ouarzazate. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Breakfast, then visit the Taourirt Kasbah. Then you will continue your journey towards the Draa Valley and the city of Zagora crossing the Anti Atlas via the Tiniffift pass 1660 m above sea level. Arrival at the bivouac in Zagora before sunset for a camel ride. You will witness a great sunset over the dune. Dinner and overnight in bivouac under Berber tent.
After sunrise and breakfast, you will visit the village of Tamgroute renowned for its Koranic school, the old library, and the potters’ district. Then you walk along the Draa valley with its beautiful date palms and the fields of Henna. Then you will cross the Anti Atlas again. Finally, you will cross the High Atlas to return to Marrakech. Night and dinner in Marrakech.
After breakfast, city tour or free time. Visit the souks to discover the magical colors of handicrafts while passing through the narrow alleys of the medina. Visit the famous Djemaa El Fna square: a space for entertainment and leisure, running until late at night. Visit the Koutoubia mosque: the most unmissable religious building in Marrakech. For tourists, the Koutoubia is often like a compass that helps you find your way around the city.
Visit of the Bahia Palace: which is best known for the richness of its architecture. Its construction is recent, 19th century, and was inspired by Arabic and Andalusian styles. Visit of Menara gardens: Menara is the most important olive grove in the city. La Menara shelters a basin, which abounds in water coming from the mountains. The place is perfect for walks.
