Morocco Desert Tour : Let’s go to the discovery of the region of the blue men of the desert. Morocco reveals its wild nature to us through the lunar landscapes and the pre-Saharan routes; let us dive into its atmospheres in mind-blowing colors.

Tour Program

Day 1

Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Zagora

The departure is planned from Marrakech at 8:00 am, taking the road which crosses the High Atlas by the Tizi n’Tichka pass towards Ouarzazate, you continue your circuit towards the Village of Agdez which marks the source of the valley from Draa, with its 6 palm groves and through the lunar landscapes and the pre-Saharan routes to Zagora, a small town, the native region of the Saadian dynasty. You will spend the first night of your tour.

Dinner and overnight at the bivouac in Zagora.

Day 2

Zagora – Erfoud – Merzouga

Departure for Erfoud, via N’Kob, the palm grove of Mellal, Tazzarine, and Alnif across a vast stony plain. Lunch along the way. Dinner and overnight at the bivouac in Merzouga for the panoramic view at sunrise in the famous dunes of Merzouga.

Day 3

Erfoud – Todra – Tinghir

Departure for Tinerhir, passing through the Todra gorges, a natural site with high rocky cliffs. It is here that many cinematographic productions took place. Lunch, then free time. Dinner and overnight in a comfortable Riad.

Day 4

Tinghir – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

Departure for Ouarzazate, through the Dades valley, nicknamed the “Thousand Kasbahs” route. A sublime landscape passes by fortified clay villages, kasbahs, ksours … Lunch and visit of the most famous kasbahs in the region: the kasbah of Taourirt and that of Aït Ben Haddou, the setting for the filming of many cinematographic productions and classified as World Heritage of Unesco.
